I travelled to the Philippines in July 2024, as a student volunteer for Operation Walk's medical mission. I was able to observe knee and hip replacement surgeries and speak with the patients in recovery. After the surgery, many of the patients used the walkers and crutches that I had personally collected through donation drives during the year, which made this trip deeply meaningful for me.
